Canary Island date palm
Canary Island date palm.
Decorative year-round!
One of the most uncomfortable palms that can be grown from the bone of the edible finishes.
The palm is tall, at home it can reach 20 metres high, but in room conditions it can be limited to the size of the container in which it grows: the smaller the container, the less it seeks to grow up.
When the leaves are dry, they fall down and no longer restore their previous position. In the event of drying, it is recommended that the leaves be raised up and tied to the support. In order to produce the palm leaves evenly, it is necessary to turn to the light so that the top of the young leaf is sent to the depths of the room.
The drilling ends of the leaves indicate an increased dryness of the air in the room, the drilled colour of the leaves and the twisting of the leaves indicate a poor condition of the root system. Early deployment of the young leaf indicates damage to roots or excessive watering.
