Cimicifuga dahurica
Bugbane Cimicifuga dahurica - Cimicifuga dahurica (Turcz.) Maxim. 
Homeland - Transbaikalia, Far East, Northeast China.
Perennial herbaceous plant up to 250 cm tall. The leaves are dull, dark green, on long petioles, twice or thrice trifoliate, and the stem leaves are much smaller.
The flowers are small, whitish-cream, collected in long, openwork and narrow racemose inflorescences of a cylindrical shape, blooming of flowers occur from the bottom up.
Blooms in July-August. In culture since 1835.
Potting of actaea: these plants thrive in moist, leafy, humus-rich soil in a shady or partially shady spot. They are good for shady borders or woodland gardens.
Propagation of actaea: baneberries may be increased by sowing seeds in the fall or by division in the spring.
