It is used as an external remedy for various skin diseases, and as an internal remedy for the treatment of diseases of the liver and gallbladder, tuberculosis, oncological diseases, and gout. The grass contains alkaloids, carotenoids, flavonoids, cardiac stimulants. Celandine grass has antispasmodic, choleretic, anti-inflammatory and bactericidal action. The grass is harvested during the flowering period and dried at a temperature of +50+60°C. For medicinal purposes, teas and alcoholic tinctures are used.
