Harilik astelhernes "Zolotoy Ezhik" Ulex europaeus

This is a fairly tall shrub (up to 2 m). The branches are erect, faceted, sparsely hairy. The lateral shoots and leaves have turned into long thorns, only the first 2-3 leaves are odd-pinnate when the seeds germinate.
