Elegant zinnia "Liliputek" - Zinnia elegans dahliaflowered.
Annual. Height 25 cm. Inflorescence diameter up to 9 cm.
Unpretentious annual plants up to 25 cm high. Bushes are dense, similar to dahlias, double flowers sit on straight strong stems.
Used for planting in mixed flower beds, borders. Looks great in pots and does not outgrow.
Sowing: March-April for seedlings. 3-4 weeks after germination, seedlings are pricked out. Seedlings are planted in open ground when the threat of frost has passed. The distance between plants is 40 cm. Prefers sunny, wind-protected, warm areas with drained, neutral, humus-rich and mineral soil.
Care: watering is required during prolonged drought. Zinnia is fed every 2-4 weeks with a solution of complex mineral fertilizer.
Flowering: from July until frost. Regular removal of faded inflorescences promotes more lush flowering.
