Densely branched and densely leafy shrub or small tree. The leaves are elongated, up to 15 cm long, dark green, pubescent below, finely serrated. The flowers are white, solitary, up to 5 cm in diameter, located on the tops of the shoots, appear after the leaves are fully unfolded. By autumn, edible fruits of a yellow or brownish tone are formed. Perfectly formed, grows quickly, therefore it is also suitable for creating hedges.
