Geranium pyrenaicum "Bill Wallis"
Perennial plant with evergreen leaves, up to 10 cm wide. Flowers are dark purple. The rhizome is large, spreading in different directions.
It grows fast enough, but the plant is not aggressive.
Flowering is long: from July to the end of September. The height of this geranium is 25 cm. It has the shape of a good bush. Doesn't "fall apart".
Needs a fairly fertile soil, slightly acidic or neutral. Prefers a sunny or semi-shady position.
Used in natural style flower beds. It can quickly fill a fairly large area. Winter-hardy without shelter.
