Perennial deciduous shrub. Plant height about 2 m. It is one of the most beautiful deciduous rhododendrons. The crown is broadly spreading, with a diameter greater than the height of the bush. During flowering, the entire bush is strewn with numerous fragrant light pink inflorescences with purple speckles. Flowers are bell-shaped, up to 10 cm in diameter. Used for planting in single and group compositions. Winter-hardy.
