Limonium suworowii
Russian statice
An annual 60-80 cm high. The plant is a rosette of leaves with shoots coming out of it. Inflorescences are long spike-shaped, consist of small pink flowers. Blooms profusely from July until frost. Sowing for seedlings in early April, direct sowing in open ground in May. Shoots appear in 10-12 days. It is better to dive seedlings into pots, since seedlings with an open root system do not take root well. They are planted in a permanent place in May, at a distance of 20-25 cm from each other.
Limonium can be placed in small groups in mixborders, rockeries. For drying, flower stalks are cut off during full flowering, but before the lower flowers begin to fade.
