Amuuri deutsia Deutzia amurensis
Ornamental deciduous shrub up to 2 m high, with spreading branches. The bark of the shoots is brown, later gray. The leaves are elliptical, opposite, up to 6 cm long, finely serrated, pointed towards the apex, wedge-shaped at the base, pubescent on both sides, bright green or grayish-green in spring and summer, ocher or brown-yellow in autumn. The flowers are white, odorless, in multi-flowered, corymbose inflorescences, up to 7 cm in diameter.
Flowering from late May to late June. The fruits are inconspicuous, yellow-brown, almost spherical capsules with small seeds. It is photophilous, drought-resistant, undemanding to soil conditions, but achieves better development in fresh and fertile soils. Propagated by seeds and cuttings.
