Persian Buttercup "Blooming Valley Red" F1 (from the Japanese company "Sakata") - Ranunculus asiatica.
This miracle flower with amazing densely double inflorescences - "roses" is back on sale and it is difficult to resist the temptation to buy it...
Lush, fiery red, similar to roses and peonies at the same time, they charm at first sight.
The varieties of this series can be grown for forcing, and their double flowers last up to 11 days in cutting. Can be grown as a potted plant indoors or in greenhouses all year round. For flowering in May, sowing is carried out in November, and for summer flowering - in February in picking boxes or pots with a light nutrient mixture to a depth of 2-3 cm.
The crops are moistened, covered with glass or plastic film to maintain humidity, and placed in the refrigerator (since the seeds require stratification).
Shoots appear in about a month. Seedlings in the phase of 2-3 pairs of true leaves are picked into separate boxes or containers. In the phase of 5-6 true leaves, the plants are planted in a permanent place.
Ranunculus prefers light, humus-rich neutral and drained soils in a sunny place. Ranunculus should be watered abundantly, especially in hot weather. Responds well to fertilizing with mullein infusion. Fertilizing is carried out at least once a week in the summer and no more than twice a month in the winter.
Flowering: 3-7 months after sowing.

Buttercup, crowfoot. Bot. syn.: Anemone asiaticus hort., Cyprianthe asiatica (L.) Freyn.
