Alpine remontant strawberry "Honey Million".
Berries all season long! The undisputed leader among alpine small-fruited varieties.
A variety of alpine strawberries, a remontant, day-neutral variety (fruits from June until the death of flowers and ovaries from autumn frosts), without horns.
It begins to bear fruit in the first year when grown from seeds. By the end of the season, the bushes reach a size of 25-30 cm in height and diameter, well leafed (dense), the number of peduncles per bush at 2-3 years of age is 20-22, berries per peduncle - 6-8 pieces. The berries are large, the first ones - up to 10 g, the subsequent ones - 7-8 g each, elongated oval, red, with protruding achenes, a slight dry detachment.
The taste and aroma are simply magical, very pleasant and rich, the flesh is tender, sour-sweet. Due to the abundant continuous flowering, the yield is simply incredible - up to 700 g per bush, forming up to 1000 berries per season. Winter hardiness is high.
Agrotechnics.
Propagated by seeds, which are sown in late January - early February. Surface sowing, without incorporation. Crops need to be covered with glass. Shoots appear after 14 days; they require high air humidity in the first 2-3 months. In the phase of 3-4 true leaves, the crops are planted in 5x5 cm pots. Planting in a permanent place is the second ten days of May according to a 25x25 cm pattern. Further care consists of regular watering, loosening, weeding, and regular picking of berries. In subsequent years, it reproduces by dividing the bush in the first ten days of May. Shelter for the winter is not required.
