RED BEETROOT "Cylindra" - Beta vulgaris L.

The variety is mid-season, and the period from germination to the harvesting of root crops is 110-130 days. The variety is high-yielding, transportable and easy.
The rosette of leaves is semi-erect, and the leaves are light green. Root crops are cylindrical, dark red, 10-16 cm long, 5-9 cm in diameter, weighing 180-350 g, with a small pointed tip and a flat surface, easily pulled out of the soil.
The pulp is dark red, without rings, sweet, and has high palatability. The skin is thin. Root crops are immersed in the soil by 1/3-1/4 of their length.

1. Boil the beets, free from the peel, and cut them into circles.
2. Cut the plum into halves, and remove the seeds.
3. Arrange in sterile jars interspersed.
4. Prepare the filling from water, sugar, salt, acid, spices and sugar. Boil and pour.
5. After 5 minutes, pour the filling into a saucepan, boil again and pour over the jars, cover with lids for 5 minutes.
For the third time, drain and boil the filling. Fill jars and roll up immediately. Turn on the lids and cool under the covers.
