Divine flower (colour mix) - Dianthus caryophyllus.
A popular biennial herbaceous plant for amateur flower gardens, forms well-developed bushes 30-60 cm tall.
The flowers are large: 6-8 cm in diameter, of various colours, with a delicate aroma. Blooms profusely in the second year after sowing from June to October.
Unpretentious, cold-resistant, prefers sunny areas with light, fertile, non-acidic soil.
Agrotechnics.
Sowing is carried out in late May - early June on seedling beds in a greenhouse to a depth of 0.5-1 cm. Seedlings in the phase of 2-3 true leaves are pulled or swooped at a distance of 10 cm between plants. In August, seedlings are planted in a permanent place at a distance of 20-30 cm. In the first year, the plant forms a rosette of leaves. For the winter, it is advisable to cover young plants with spruce branches.
They are used for all types of flower beds and high-quality cuts (cloves retain their decorative effect in a vase for a long time).
1.0 g = 600 seeds.
