Armenian cucumber "Carosello Barese" (Italian cucumber).
Delicately sweet, fragrant and juicy fruits with the smell of cucumber and the taste of melon - very good in summer salads!
Late-ripening variety (70-80 days), with an exotic appearance, 30-45 cm long, with pronounced ribbing, dark green. The plant is vigorous, the main whip is 2.5-3 m long.
Early ripe gourds of the Cucurbitaceae family for cultivation in open ground and film greenhouses. 5-10 fruits ripen on the plant. The fruits are cylindrical, segmented, light green, weighing up to 1 kg, with crispy, juicy, sweet pulp and a delicate melon aroma, which refresh and tone.
The value of the variety: long-term fruiting, resistance to true and downy mildew and temperature extremes. Successful cultivation requires light, fertile, breathable soils. Fruits are eaten at a young age (avoiding overripe) in salads, pickles and conservation.
