Cauliflower "Orange Ball" F1.
A new, truly "colored" hybrid of cauliflower. The unusual colour is not the result of genetic engineering and has nothing to do with the notorious "GMO".
This is an environmentally friendly product created by traditional selection methods.
The hybrid is early maturing, forms a marketable head weighing about 500 g approximately 70-75 days after planting the seedlings. The beautiful orange head does not differ in taste from the white one.
But it expands the boundaries of kitchen (and garden) aesthetics and contains an order of magnitude more carotene, which is useful for vision and skin. The product does not lose colour with gentle heat treatment.
Agricultural technology.
Sowing seeds for seedlings. It is very important to maintain the temperature regime: during the day +15 +18 °C, and at night +12 +14 °C. Planting seedlings in the ground at the age of 30-35 days, in the phase of 4-5 true leaves (when planting, the plants are deepened to the 1st true leaf).
It needs regular abundant watering throughout the season. To obtain products until late autumn, seeds for seedlings are sown in several stages with an interval of 15 days.
The plants need regular weeding, loosening and fertilizing.

* The bright orange color is due to the increased content of vitamin A and beta-carotene. Their concentration in orange cabbage is 2.5 times higher than in ordinary white cabbage.
These substances help maintain visual acuity and eye health. During cooking, the inflorescences do not lose color but the colour still remains brighter if the vegetable is steamed or battered.
When boiling such cabbage, it is recommended to add a little citric acid to the water. The bright color of the head allows you to create a real feast of color on the plate.
