Cicerchia can be used as part of bean mixtures for porridge. Cicerchia seeds are used to make flour, which is then added to wheat and rye flour when baking bread.
Benefit for health.
Cicerchia, like all legumes, has medicinal properties. Regular consumption of Cicerchia strengthens the immune system, tones the body, increases resistance to colds, supplies the body with necessary vitamins and minerals, slows down the aging process, improves the functioning of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, and normalizes digestive processes.
In folk medicine, an aqueous solution of Cicerchia is used as an expectorant for pneumonia and bronchitis. Homeopaths use an alcohol tincture from the seeds.
