Coriander "Hacor".
Green condiment with spicy-fragrant leaves and seeds.
Known as Kinza as well. Sow in early spring or late autumn. Germinate slowly 2-3 weeks. Sow every 10 days to have fresh leaves in longer period. Leaves add to salad, vegetable, rise and pulses meals, stews, soups, sauces and meat dishes.
The best predecessors for cilantro are potatoes, table root vegetables, legumes, for which organic fertilizers were applied.
Coriander is sown repeatedly, starting in early spring, after 2-3 weeks until mid-summer. Sowing in rows with row spacings of 50-60 cm. The depth of seeding is 1-2 cm. To obtain seeds, coriander is sown in early spring with a distance between lines of 30 cm.
Coriander seeds are sown in a sunny place in ordinary garden soil from March to May. They begin to germinate at temperatures of almost +4+6°C. At a soil temperature at a seeding depth of +10+12°C, seedlings appear in 20-22 days, and at a temperature of +15+17°C on 10-12 days. The plant is relatively cold-resistant. Young plantings tolerate frosts down to -5°C. In southern Russia, coriander overwinters well.
Prefers light, fertile, moist and non-acidic soils. The plant is light-loving.
