Crookneck "Ga Ga Ga" F1 (Decorative pumpkin).
An amazing climbing plant with decorative fruits and ribbed stems up to 3 m long, equipped with tendrils that help this vine to easily "climb" to a height of up to 3 m to decorate an arch, arbor, fence or wall of the house.
Flowers large, solitary, yellow. Blooms from June. The fruits are very decorative, yellow, warty, pear-shaped with a long thin curved "neck". The leaves are emerald, large, five-lobed, with prickly hairs, on long, hollow petioles. Ideal for vertical gardening.
Dried fruits serve as an excellent decoration for various compositions. The fruits, although edible, are specific in taste, so it is not recommended to eat.
Agrotechnics.
Sowing: germinated seeds are sown in March-April in 7-9 cm pots or peat-humus cubes. The depth of seed placement is 3-4 cm. Seeds germinate at a temperature not lower than +15 °C. Seedlings are planted in open ground when the threat of frost has passed, maintaining a distance between plants of 20-30 cm. Prefers sunny places with fertile, loose soils.
Care: loosening, weeding and timely watering. Responsive to feeding. Needs strong support.
