Dwarf primrose "Rosanna Mix" F1 - Primula acaulis.
Cute primroses with unusual double and semi-double flowers.
A herbaceous perennial plant, one of the earliest flowering, belongs to the Primulaceae family. Forms a compact and very even bush 15 cm high.
The leaves are basal, whole. The flowers are large, fully double, of various shades, similar to small roses.
Grows well and blooms profusely in semi-shaded places, on fertilized, sufficiently moist soil. Easily tolerates transplantation even during flowering. Seeds are sown in open ground in autumn or spring after stratification in wet sand at a low positive temperature, for 3-4 weeks. At a soil temperature of +10 °C, seedlings appear after 25 days. They are planted in a permanent place in the spring or autumn of the second year. Primroses should be planted so that the plantings are closed, and there is no open space between the rosettes of leaves. Young plants bloom in the second year. Flowering lasts from April to July.
Used for planting in borders, flower beds and rock gardens, especially in the shade, as well as for winter forcing. A plant transplanted into a pot in the fall blooms indoors in March-April.

Bot. syn.: Primula vulgaris, Primula grandiflora Lam.
