A bright series of compact marigolds for decorating borders, flower beds, flowerpots, and balcony boxes.
Forms a branching bush 20-25 cm high. Inflorescences are 5-6 cm in diameter, red-brown in color. Blooms from June until frost.
Marigolds are light-loving and heat-loving, do not tolerate frost, are undemanding to soils, but prefer fertile and light soils.
Sowing for seedlings is carried out in the second half of March - early April. Seedlings appear 4-8 days after sowing; seedlings are pricked out in the phase of the 2nd true leaf. Seedlings are planted out in early June with a distance of 30-35 cm between plants. Sowing in open ground is carried out in May to a depth of 1.5-2 cm.

* Marigolds are very useful in the garden: their root secretions reduce the infection of other plants with fungal diseases (especially Fusarium wilt) and protect against some types of nematodes. Moreover, marigolds grown in pots at home have the ability to repel insects and will save you from flies and mosquitoes all summer long.
In addition, dried leaves and flowers of marigolds are used to prepare seasoning for salads, soups, and sauces. So this plant, like no other, is suitable for a decorative vegetable garden.
