Carrot "NARBONNE" F1.
It is stored well.
Late-ripening hybrid variety: the period from germination to harvest is 135 days. The tops are strong, dark green. The roots are uniform, cylindrical in shape, slightly tapering to a cone, bright orange in color. Length 18-22 cm, weight 100-150 g. The taste is excellent.
Recommended for fresh consumption and storage.

* Late-ripening carrots are stored in the basement, cellar, etc.
For which you can use wooden or plastic boxes. They are placed in boxes in layers, sprinkled with wet sand and try to arrange the roots so that they do not touch each other. Instead of sand, you can also use moss.
Another way to store carrots is "glazing" them with clay. This is done like this: dilute the clay with water to the consistency of thick sour cream, dip the root vegetables into this "glaze" and place them on a grate so that the excess liquid drains off and the coating dries... In such a shell, the carrots almost do not lose moisture and remain fresh until spring. But, of course, the storage temperature should be around 0 °C and the storage should be dry. If for some reason the previous methods of storing carrots do not suit you, then you can also generously sprinkle the root vegetables with crushed chalk to prevent putrefactive processes. And if you additionally sprinkle the root vegetables with onion peel, they will be stored even better.
