Petunia "Bonanza" F1 (double mix)
Multiflora petunia “Bonanza” F1 (double mixed colors) — Petunia multiflora double.
A 100% double mixture of multiflora petunias of American selection with a spectacular flower shape — the most cherished dreams of gardeners are embodied in the new hybrid, abundantly blooming “Bonanza” petunia!
The plant is particularly compact, branches well, blooms early, and produces so many simultaneously open large double flowers that the leaves are practically invisible behind them. The hybrid is characterized by a beautiful appearance, long and very uniform blooming, unpretentiousness, and resistance to adverse weather conditions.
These cheerful double flowers look great in balcony boxes, flower beds, and hanging planters.
The plants are 25—40 cm high with a bush diameter of about 30—35 cm. The flowers are double (of the most diverse colors), about 5—7 cm in diameter. They are able to endure bad weather — rain and wind — without losing their decorative effect. Blooms abundantly from June until frosts.
Agricultural technique.
The plant is light-loving, drought-resistant, and grows well on any nutritious soils. Sowing seeds for seedlings is carried out in February — March. The seeds are slightly pressed into the soil, but not covered with earth. The planting container is covered with glass and placed in a lit place. At a soil temperature of +18—20 °C, seedlings appear on the 14th—20th day. Seedlings are pricked out in the phase of two true leaves. Seedlings are planted in open ground after the end of spring frosts.
