Pumpkin or zucchini jam.
Ingredients:
• 1 kg pumpkin or zucchini;
• 1 kg sugar;
• 1 lemon.
Method of preparation:
1. Peel and dice the pumpkin or zucchini.
2. Scald the lemon with boiling water, cut it, be sure to remove the seeds (otherwise the jam will be bitter). Pass the lemon with the peel through a meat grinder and mix with the pumpkin and sugar.
3. Let it brew for 3 hours.
4. Put on medium heat and immediately cook until done (the cubes will become transparent).
5. Put the hot jam into jars and close.
Store at room temperature and close.
