Fertilizers can be simple, consisting of only one element (for example: nitrogen, phosphorus or potassium) or complex, when such fertilizers contain additional trace elements.
Complex fertilizers are called complex.
Based on the composition, they are divided into double, having only a couple of elements in their composition (for example: nitrogen and phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium, or phosphorus and potassium) and triple, containing three or more elements, as well as trace elements.

* The advantage of compost over mineral fertilizers.
In compost, nutrients are not in the form of soluble organic salts, but in combination with organic substances.
It means:
firstly, that during rains or watering, they are not washed out into the deeper layers of the soil, but are always in the upper layer, where the roots that feed the plant are concentrated.
Secondly, if mineral fertilizers are forcibly taken into the roots of plants and from this they fatten, easily succumbing to any infection, and for pests they are generally a delicacy...
Well-rotted compost is essentially a "set table" - the plant takes food only when it needs it...
In addition, compost, like a sponge, perfectly absorbs water and passes air well.
Good compost is a great substitute for any mineral fertilizer.
