Cucumber "Aladyn" F1
Cucumber "Aladyn" F1 - Cucumis sativus L.
Magical harvest and Polish quality! Ideal for barrels and jars.
A mid-season (56-60 days), bee-pollinated hybrid of Polish selection for open field cultivation. Distinguished by uniform fruits and high marketability.
Characteristics:
The plant is vigorous, with predominantly female flowering type (guaranteeing abundant fruit setting).
The fruits (gherkins) are cylindrical, bright green with neat light stripes. A key feature is that they are genetically not prone to overgrowing and do not turn yellow for a long time.
Seed feature: seeds are small, which allows for a lower sowing rate by weight while maintaining plant density.
Variety value:
1. Taste: Tasting score of fresh cucumbers is 5 points (crunchy, aromatic), pickled ones – 4.5 points (retain firmness and crunch).
2. Health: The hybrid has high resistance to a complex of diseases, and most importantly – to Downy Mildew, allowing for harvesting until late autumn.
Agrotechnics:
Prefers fertile, humus-rich soil. Sow in the ground when the threat of frost has passed. Due to disease resistance, it requires fewer chemical treatments.
