Salad cucumber "Laheeb" F1 (250 seeds)
Semi-long Cucumber "Laheeb" F1.
An early salad cucumber with dark green, smooth cylindrical fruits (80 g) and high yield.
Recommended for professional cultivation. Fruit length is 16-18 cm.
Disease resistance and a high yield of uniform cylindrical fruits make this hybrid variety particularly recommended for true professional (very intensive) cultivation. It shows excellent results in plastic tunnels or unheated greenhouses.
Resistance: Resistant to Cucumber Mosaic Virus (CMV), Anthracnose, and Downy Mildew.
Agrotechnics and Tips:
* Temperature: Optimal temperature for growth is +25...+30°C. At +10...+12°C, the growth of the shoot and root systems stops, and at +5°C, photosynthesis ceases, leading to plant death.
* Root system: Taproot system; roots are extremely sensitive to heat/cold balance, especially during germination and seedling emergence.
* Light: A "short-day" plant.
* Seeds: 2-4-year-old seeds are considered the best (the "lighter" and older the seeds, the earlier the plants mature). Sometimes, plants with an abundance of male flowers (barren flowers) grow from the largest, freshest seeds.
* Watering: Ensure that water does not fall on the base of the stems. At the beginning of flowering, watering is temporarily stopped.
* Fertilizing: First feeding (slurry 1:5) — at the phase of one true leaf. Second — two weeks later, at the beginning of vine formation.
