Spring vetch (Spring pea) - Lathyrus vernus.
Rare and protected plant. Height 20-30 cm.
The leaf is first light green, then dark green, shiny. Inflorescences with 3-8 flowers, bicolor, from carmine to lilac and blue-violet, attract butterflies. The flowers are drooping, rather large.
Blossoms in May, during flowering is very decorative.
It grows well in a bright, semi-shady place. The soil requires moderately loose, fresh, fertilized with manure, with an average nutrient content, limed.

Ground cover perennial for rock garden from the Papilionaceae family.
Origin: Europe.
