Linum usitatissimum L.
Common flax (Linseed) ''Agriol''.
Very easy to care for and undemanding to the soil.
For herbal treatment, flax seeds are most often obtained in September when flax is threshed and then dried. Only fully ripe, mucus-rich seeds are effective. Flaxseed oil can also be obtained from not quite mature seeds.
For herbal treatment, oil obtained by cold pressing is used.
