Sticky catchfly "Alba schnee" - Lychnis viscaria alba.
An unpretentious perennial from the Caryophyllaceae family, 50 cm high. Blooms from the end of May for 45-50 days.
Flowers are pure white, collected in large inflorescences.
Prefers well-lit areas, but can grow in partial shade. The soil should be moderately moist, without stagnant water. The crop responds to fertilizers.
​Winter hardiness zones: Z3 - Z7. Overwinters without shelter.
Seeds are sown in late April - early May in open ground. Propagated also by dividing the bush and cuttings.
Used for landscaping - in group plantings, borders, mixborders and for cutting.
