Sweet corn "Afrodita" F1 (improved "Gusta" F1) is a high-yielding hybrid variety for all types of cooking, canning, and freezing.
A mid-early hybrid that produces one, maximum two ears. It is characterized by high resistance to Fusarium wilt.
Valued for its excellent taste and nutritional qualities, high content of carbohydrates, fiber, carotene, vitamins B1, B2, PR minerals and protein.
Agricultural technology.
Corn requires heat. It grows best on light, well-warmed air, permeable, fairly fertile soils.
Sowing: in soil warmed to +10°C no earlier than mid-May. Seeds are sown in furrows to a depth of 4 cm on heavy (or 8 cm on light) soils, placing 2-3 seeds every 30-40 cm. Row spacing is 60-70 cm. With thickened row sowing, thinning is carried out, leaving a gap between plants row 30-40 cm.
Care: consists of regular watering and fertilizing. It is characterized by increased responsiveness to watering and fertilizing.
From July, watering and fertilizing are stopped.
Harvest: August-September.
