French marigold "Strawberry Blonde"
A unique variety-chameleon!
On one plant there are inflorescences of different colours, which change as they develop, as if in a kaleidoscope (as they bloom, the colour of the inflorescences changes from red-brown to yellow).
The dynamics of such a change in tones are influenced by the temperature background: in cool weather, the colour of flowers changes slowly, in hot weather - faster.
Bushes with good branching, 20-25 cm high, about 20 cm wide. The inflorescence is carnation-shaped, densely double, with a diameter of 6 cm. The variety is recommended for decorating garden flower beds and for container culture. Encrusted seeds (cleaned from tufts).
Agrotechnics.
Grown by seedlings. Sowing is carried out in the first half of April. Shoots appear 4-8 days after sowing, seedlings dive into the phase of 1-2 true leaves.
Seedlings are planted in late May - early June.
Planting pattern: 30x30 cm.
It is possible to sow seeds in open ground in May to a depth of 1.5-2 cm.
Single bushes planted among vegetables effectively repel pests and disinfect the soil, and also suppress the development of nematodes.
