Marrow "Alberello di Sarzana".
An early ripe variety (begins to bear fruit in 45-50 days). A bush-shaped plant with 1-2 first-order branches.
Fruits are leveled, cylindrical, smooth, weighing 0.8-1.0 kg, green in color with small light dots.
The bark is medium thick, crispy, tender, the pulp is yellow, crispy, very sweet, juicy. The taste is excellent.
The fruits are perfectly stored and transported.
Agrotechnics.
Light, fertile soils with low groundwater levels are most suitable for zucchini; it does not tolerate acidic soils.
The best predecessors are early vegetables, onions, root vegetables, tomatoes, potatoes.
Before planting, the site is dug up and fertilized with organic and mineral fertilizers, as well as ash, if necessary, lime.
Sowing of seeds is carried out in late May - early June after the spring frosts have passed. Seeds are sown in holes of 2-3 pcs.
The distance between the holes is not less than 60 cm.
After emergence, weak plants are carefully removed. Further care consists in regular watering, loosening, hilling and feeding.
Harvesting of fruits is carried out regularly at intervals of 2-3 days, preventing them from overripening.
