Mid-season variety. The plant is erect and fairly spreading. Fruits are cylindrical, faceted, yellow in color, 18-20 cm long.
Sowing in May in protected ground for growing seedlings or in open ground in early June, after the end of spring frosts. Sow or plant 80x100 cm.
Vegetable soup with zucchini (Cretan cuisine).
350 g diced potatoes
350 g diced carrots
350 g diced zucchini
2-3 ripe, finely chopped tomatoes
Some finely chopped celery root
2 finely chopped onions
1 cup olive oil
Fry the onion and add potatoes, carrots and zucchini, simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Then add the tomatoes, salt, pepper and 2-3 cups of water.
Let the soup simmer over low heat for 35 minutes and add lemon juice at the end.
