Sweet False Chamomile "Zloty Lan" - Matricaria recutita L.
Annual, fragrant, herbaceous plant 20-40 cm high with an upright branched stem.
The leaves are doubly pinnate, 3-5 cm long. The flowers are small, with white petals and a yellow tubular basket, numerous,
with a pleasant aroma, reminiscent of the smell of apples just picked from a tree. It has valuable medicinal properties.
Contains salicylic, ascorbic, nicotinic acids, phytosterol, bitterness, tannins, sazulene, flavonoids.
It has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, carminative, disinfectant, diaphoretic, choleretic, antipruritic effects,
and also tones the skin and enhances the secretion of the glands of the gastrointestinal tract.
Medicinal raw materials (flowers (inflorescences) without pedicels) are collected throughout the summer and dried in the shade, scattering in a thin layer.
