Monopotassium phosphate (PK 52-34) - Powdered potassium monophosphate.
An effective phosphorus-potassium fertilizer and a reliable assistant for every gardener.
This mineral fertilizer consists of two key elements: phosphorus (about 50%) and potassium (about 33%), and it is completely free of nitrogen. It is this scientifically balanced ratio that makes it the ideal choice during the budding and active flowering stages.
Phosphorus-based fertilizers act in several ways:
- improving the plant's root system;
- supporting or restoring healthy development and growth;
- increasing crop yields;
- improving crop quality (for instance, a higher protein content is noted in cereals, oilseeds, rapeseed, and soybeans);
- slowing down oxidative processes and enhancing reductive processes in the soil.
Phosphorus and potassium fertilizers are intended for the supplementary feeding of all plants. Fertilize by dissolving the powder in water during sowing (planting), active growth, and harvesting.
Application rate: watering – 10-30 g per 10 L of water, spraying – 10-20 g per 10 L of water.
Fertilizer type: EC B.4. Fertilizer PK 52-34.

Main advantages of use:

  • Stimulation of lush flowering: Phosphorus is the main "building material" for forming buds. Thanks to it, the number of inflorescences increases, they become larger, and the flowering period is noticeably prolonged.

  • Color saturation: Potassium is responsible for the synthesis of pigments, giving flowers brighter, deeper, and purer shades.

  • No excessive vegetative growth: Since there is no nitrogen in the composition, the plant does not waste energy on endlessly growing green mass (leaves and stems), but gives all its accumulated energy to the flowers.

  • Rapid absorption: Monophosphate dissolves easily and completely in water. The plant receives nutrition almost instantly — both when watered at the root and when sprayed on the leaves.

  • Preparation for wintering: In cool climates (for example, in Estonia, where summers can be short), phosphorus-potassium top dressing helps the shoots of perennial crops to lignify faster. This significantly increases their frost resistance and chances of surviving the winter without loss.

  • Boosting immunity: Regular use makes the cell walls of plants denser, which reduces the risk of developing fungal diseases (in particular, powdery mildew) and pest infestations.

How and when to apply: as a rule, monopotassium phosphate is introduced at the moment the first buds form. Feeding continues every 10–14 days throughout the entire active flowering period. The standard dosage for most crops is about 10–30 grams of powder per 10 liters of water.

Monopotassium phosphate works real miracles when it comes to crops with intense and prolonged flowering. The effect of its application on some plants becomes visually noticeable in just 3–5 days after feeding — buds swell, and petals acquire an unprecedented vibrancy...

* When preparing a nutrient solution for these crops, it is important to remember one golden rule: "it is better to slightly underfeed than to overfeed".
The solution must always be applied strictly to moist soil to avoid burning the delicate absorbing roots.
