Beetroot "Monorubra".
A mono-germ, mid-late variety of beetroot. The vegetation period is 110-130 days. The bulbs are cylindrical; the flesh is red with no rings. The plant is moderately vigorous.
Sow in April for harvesting for immediate consumption and from May until June for harvesting for preserving.
Oblong root crops with dark red pulp, without flowers. Suitable for fresh use, canning, steaming and frying. Stay well during winter.
Grow best in medium-heavy, deeply tilled, non-acid loamy soil. In poorly tiled soil beets germinate a different times, become sparse.
