Radish "Viola" (on tape with fertilizer)
Purple Radish "Viola" (on tape with fertilizer).
Purple outside, snow-white inside!
Mid-early variety: the period from germination to harvest is 36-38 days. The root crops are round, deep purple, large, and do not bolt (flower) for a long time.
The flesh is white, juicy, with a delicate taste.
The most suitable time for sowing radishes grown in open ground: March-April.
For an autumn harvest, sowing is carried out in the second half of August.
Attention: it is strictly forbidden to soak the water-soluble tape before sowing, because it will simply dissolve into "mush", and sowing will become impossible.
Growing conditions.
Sowing is carried out when the soil warms up to +8+10°C to a depth of 1.5-2.0 cm. Prefers light, medium-heavy, loose soil, rich in humus, free of weeds, and non-acidic (pH 6-7).
The optimal temperature for root formation is +18+20°C. The best quality roots are obtained in sunny and sufficiently moist areas.
The culture is cold-resistant; seedlings withstand frosts down to -4°C.
Care consists of regular watering at intervals of 2-3 days. In dry weather, water daily. On poor soils, 1-2 feedings are carried out.
