Signet Marigold "Orange" - Tagetes tenuifolia.
Many orange inflorescences: a parade of blooming balls with openwork foliage!
A profusely blooming variety for bright, elegant flower beds. The plant is highly branched, forms a spreading bush 30-40 cm in height, with graceful pinnately dissected leaves. At the time of flowering, the plant looks like a blooming ball, strewn with orange inflorescences-baskets up to 3 cm in diameter.
Marigolds are thermophilic and light-loving, drought-resistant, and responsive to soil fertility. Planted next to garden crops, they reduce their damage to fungal diseases, especially fusarium, and protect against certain types of nematodes.
Seedlings are sown in early April. Can be sown in open ground at the end of May - beginning of June. Shoots appear on 5-10 days.
Widely used in landscaping when decorating borders, for growing in containers and flowerpots. Suitable for growing in ampels on balconies and loggias.

Signet Marigold, slender-leaf marigold. Bot. syn.: Tagetes signata Bartl.
