Sikkim Rhubarb (Noble Rhubarb)
Noble Rhubarb (Sikkim Rhubarb) - Rheum nobile.
Noble rhubarb is an inhabitant of rocky high mountain slopes, where even in summer it is cold and it often rains, and sometimes it rains with snow. Therefore, rhubarb has adapted to such weather.
Inside the yellow bract, the temperature is at least 5 degrees higher than outside. This is where small yellow-green groups of flowers bloom.
During flowering, rhubarb grows to about 40 cm - 1 meter, and by the time the fruit ripens, it already reaches 2 meters.
