Cultivation Guidelines:
Location: Prefers shaded areas. In full sun, especially in dry weather, inflorescences fade by late June, developing yellowish tones. Fragrance diminishes in low-humidity conditions.
Propagation:
-
By dividing clumps, cuttings, or seeds sown in open beds in autumn.
-
Spring sowing in protected soil is possible after one month of cold stratification.
Seedlings are robust and fast-growing, flowering in their second year. Divide clumps in late April or early September, spacing plants 40 cm apart. Plants can thrive in the same location for 10+ years. For cuttings, use young shoots with partially developed leaves and a "heel" (piece of older tissue).
