Mid-season (from planting to ripening of the leaves of the last break 105 days) variety with a low nicotine content (about 0.63%) and high smoking properties (according to the indicators: strength, aroma, taste and sweetness - 38.5 points).
The plant is oval in shape, with elliptical, slightly pointed leaves of yellow-green colour. There are 25-27 leaves on the plant.
The variety is resistant to root rot, tobacco mosaic, downy mildew. The yield of raw materials of the first commercial grade is 95-97%. The yield is 3.6-3.8 kg / m2.
Recommended for cigarettes and smoking pipes.
Sowing for seedlings is carried out in late March-April. Before sowing, the container is filled with slightly damp soil (three parts of sandy loam turf soil and one part of well-rotted and sifted humus), the surface is compacted and leveled. The seeds are evenly distributed over the surface, lightly pressed into the substrate, moistened with a spray bottle and covered with film. The crops are placed in a bright, warm place, watered through a tray, airing every day (lifting the film for 30 minutes). Young plants are planted in open ground in mid-late May at a distance of 50-70 cm. From mid-July, they begin collecting and drying tobacco. Tobacco is fermented before use.
