Folk ways to combat late blight.
Method 1.
Pour 100 ml of low-fat (settled) milk into a liter jar, add water to 1 liter and add 1-2 drops of iodine solution (but no more!).
Spray the tomatoes with the resulting solution. The iodine solution destroys microbes and accelerates ripening.
Method 2.
At the first signs of disease, treat the fruits with a 10% solution of table salt. A protective film is formed that will prevent fungal spores from penetrating the fruit.
