Mid-season, indeterminate variety from the USA. An old, proven variety valued for its high fruit keeping quality and unique color.

Cultivation:
Seed sowing time for seedlings: 50-65 days before planting in the greenhouse.
Transplanting time to greenhouse: End of 2nd - beginning of 3rd decade of May.
Growing period: 110-140 days.
Soil acidity: Slightly acidic, but can grow in any soil, even acidic ones.
Best soils: Loose, well-warming loams, sandy loams, and fertile alluvial soils.
Best predecessors: Cabbage, cucumber, onion, peas (should not be planted after potatoes and other nightshades).
Seed viability period: 4-5 years.
