* Some gardeners pluck all the leaves from tomato plants, thinking that this will help the harvest form faster. Is this really true?
Usually, tomato leaves are plucked when the fruits in the cluster have already fully formed, filled out, and started to ripen.
Before this inflorescence, all the leaves located below can be removed. The following leaves can be removed only when the next inflorescence is forming and filling out.
Premature removal of leaves will not allow the fruits to fill out completely to their size.
Additional removal of leaves is possible with dense plantings to improve light and air conditions.
In this case, not the entire leaf is removed, but only part of it.
