Tomato "Reisetomate"
Tomato "Voyage" (Reisetomate).
The most unusual tomato in the world: the "tear-apart" traveler tomato!
Also known as "Brain" or "Garlic" tomato. It is a mid-early, very unpretentious, and hardy variety that bears fruit until the first frost.
Unique feature:
The fruits of this tomato are essentially a cluster of cherry tomatoes fused together, creating a bizarre shape resembling a bunch of grapes, a garlic bulb, or even a brain. Each fruit is unique and unlike any other.
The main advantage of this variety is that the fused lobes can be easily separated by hand. You can eat it on the go, at a picnic, or while traveling without using a knife or making a mess (hence the German name Reisetomate — "travel tomato").
Characteristics:
* Plant: Indeterminate, 120-180 cm tall. It is recommended to prune to 3-4 stems.
* Fruits: Weight varies from 50 to 300 g (depending on the number of fused segments).
* Taste: Classic tomato flavor, sweet and sour, just like traditional red varieties.
