Pour boiling water over the shredded cabbage and let it steep for 5-10 minutes. Drain the water and place the cabbage in a 2- or 3-liter glass jar, sprinkling it with salt. Add yeast and pour warm water (33-35 degrees Celsius). Place the filled jars in a warm place. After 2 days, the cabbage is ready to eat. For 1 kg of shredded cabbage: 25 g of salt, 2 g of yeast.
