Description: Extremely special! Seed of this species is rarely offered. This gorgeous blue mauve Lathyrus is vigorous and can be grown in containers to achieve a stunning effect. Hardy in cooler areas, but dislikes winter wet. Height: 90-120cm (3-4ft).
Sowing Instructions.
Sow mid January to mid March. Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 18-20C. Sowing Depth: ¼in (6mm). Germination usually takes 7-21 days. Aftercare Plant in full sun and in ordinary garden soil. Caution. Harmful if eaten.
A rare climber with scented, lavender-blue flowers from April to September.
Sow late winter to early spring.
