The flowers are intensely purple in color with a dark throat, 5.5-6 cm in diameter, forming a cascade up to 100 cm long.
Hybrids included in the “Velvet F1” group are successfully used in compositions where their cascading nature is emphasized (in flowerpots, hanging baskets or for decoration, so-called “flower trees”).
With the length of their excellent hanging shoots, reaching 80-100 cm, they can easily compete with varieties propagated vegetatively.
They can also be successfully used for planting in flower beds. After a short period of time, the plants grow together and form a continuous carpet 25 cm high.
