Mountain sandwort "Snowwhite"
A beautiful compact perennial plant 10 cm tall, grows in diameter up to 50 cm. It will be an excellent decoration for your rock garden or rocky garden.
Small oval-lanceolate or lanceolate leathery leaves up to 2 cm long look very decorative all season long. They form a dense cushion, abundantly strewn with small graceful snow-white flowers 2 cm in diameter. Arenaria will delight you with its flowering in June - July.
Also looks great in pots and containers, on borders and alpine slides.

Arenaria prefers light sandy soils with humus, rich in calcium, but can grow on alkaline and acidic substrates. Feels good in sunny or semi-shaded areas. It is quite frost-resistant, but in severe winters it is better to cover the plants.
Sowing: March-April at a temperature of +20°C. Germination - after 5-6 weeks. Then the seedlings are picked and after 3 weeks they are planted: in open ground in April-May according to a 30x35 cm pattern.
If there are no seedlings after 5-6 weeks, the crops are kept at -4 + 4°C for 3-5 weeks. Next, the temperature is raised again to +20°C.
Care: timely watering, weeding, loosening and fertilizing with complex mineral fertilizer.
